About Vietnamese coffee

Vietnam is currently the world’s second-largest coffee producer, but there is much more to the story than just volume. The country possesses a unique "coffee belt" topography, with the Central Highlands (Tay Nguyen) providing rich basaltic soil that is perfect for coffee cultivation.

Vietnamese coffee culture is defined by its strength and boldness. It is a culture born from the Phin filter, characterized by a slow drip that demands patience and rewards it with a thick, chocolatey, and intense liquor. Roasting capacities

Arabica

We source our Arabica from high-altitude regions like Cau Dat (Da Lat), situated over 1,500 meters above sea level. Our Arabica is characterized by its bright acidity, clean body, and notes of jasmine and stone fruit. We treat these beans with a light-to-medium roast profile to preserve their delicate floral DNA.

Robusta

Robusta is our heritage. We select only the finest Peaberry (Culi) and high-quality Robusta beans from Dak Lak. Forget the "burnt" taste of commercial coffee; our Robusta is roasted to highlight deep notes of dark chocolate, toasted nuts, and a creamy mouthfeel that is essential for a perfect espresso crema.

Packaging

Coffee’s greatest enemies are oxygen and light. At Roast.Cafe, we use high-barrier packaging equipped with one-way degassing valves. This allows CO2 to escape while preventing oxygen from entering, ensuring that the beans you receive thousands of miles away are as fresh as the day they left our cooling tray.
